Whilst dance teams such as the Cambridge University Acrobatic Rock 'n' Roll Team are prevalent in continental Europe (with several teams in each city as well as junior teams), we are the only team of this sort in the UK. Awareness of our team and our popularity has grown rapidly in Cambridge over the last few years and we are keen to start performing further afield. Aside from our excellent dance team, individually, over the last few years, our couples have proved to be the best in the UK. Since there are no dedicated professional Rock 'n' Roll Dancing couples in the UK, three of our couples are presently training to compete on the international B-standard competition circuit, where they will represent the UK.

 

We would like to provide more training facilities for our couples. This involves paying for hall hire, equipment and coaches. We would like to continue entering the five annual UK national student competitions and additionally we would like to compete on the international B-standard competition circuit.
